About the Opportunity

Laboratory Analysts work in all aspects of the laboratory from sample preparation to carrying out wet chemistry and instrumental analysis with an emphasis on quality outcomes. The successful candidate will be required to support the team and company with strong technical capabilities in analysis, instrument maintenance, method development, training, and accurate administrative reporting.

About You

  • Qualification in chemistry or food science preferred
  • Experience in a NATA accredited ISO/IEC 17025 chemistry laboratory, following standard methods and working to deadlines
  • Experience in method development and method validation 
  • Experience managing a workload of large sample numbers
  • Strong attention to detail mindset and ability to investigate or troubleshoot is critical
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train others
  • Sound understanding of quality control
  • Good understanding of the principles and application of measurement of uncertainty
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Flexible working hours when required

Export Documentation Officer

About the Opportunity

The role encompasses the drafting and execution of export shipping documentation to a high standard. It requires technical understanding of lab testing parameters, ability to prioritise and manage workflow effectively under time constraints and consolidate data for document execution.

This is a great opportunity for a person with agri-commodity, shipping or testing, freight forwarding documentation or export administration experience who shares our values.

About You

  • Background in agri, shipping documentation, letter of credits highly regarded
  • Ability to interpret technical information within export shipping documents
  • Strong administrative experience, MS Office Suite
  • Effective communication skills and an eye for detail
